Children’s Museum of Pooler and VyStar Host Earn and Learn Day Sept. 26

Children can earn “CMOP Bucks” and decide whether to spend or save them during Earn and Learn Day at the Children’s Museum of Pooler on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Presented with VyStar Credit Union as part of its Good is Everywhere Celebration Day, the event will introduce children to work, earning, saving, spending and setting goals through hands-on activities. After completing challenges to earn CMOP Bucks, children can make spending and saving decisions at the museum’s redemption station.
“Financial literacy starts with everyday choices,” said Crystal Daniels, executive director of the Children’s Museum of Pooler. “Through hands-on discovery, children can earn CMOP Bucks, decide whether to spend or save them, and begin to understand how those choices help them reach a goal. We’re grateful to VyStar Credit Union for helping us bring that learning to more families.”
VyStar sponsored complimentary admission for 100 guests, and all of those spaces have been filled. Families who did not reserve a complimentary space are welcome to attend with regular museum admission. Admission is free for current museum members.
