Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce members interested in expanding their business through federal contracting are invited to a special free, hands-on workshop on Thursday, Oct. 8, focused on doing business with the U.S. Army at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield.

The workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn Savannah Historic District, 1520 W. Bryan St., with two convenient sessions available: 8:30–10 a.m. and 4:30–6 p.m.

Designed for businesses new to government contracting, as well as those looking to strengthen their position for future opportunities, the workshop will provide practical guidance and direct access to contracting professionals.

Attendees will learn what goods and services Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield are seeking, how to register and become an approved federal vendor, important contracting rules and compliance requirements, and ways to make their businesses more competitive.

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask specific questions directly to the professionals who manage government contracts.
