The Hinesville Area Board of REALTORS® (HABR) is celebrating a major milestone with the opening of its new permanent home at
118 S. Commerce St. in downtown Hinesville.
HABR will host a ribbon cutting and open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, inviting members, community leaders, business partners and guests to tour the newly renovated facility and celebrate the association's investment in its future.
HABR purchased the property in late January 2026 and officially moved into the building at the end of February following renovations. The new headquarters establishes a permanent home for the association and provides a dedicated space to support its members, host professional development opportunities and meetings, and strengthen partnerships throughout the community.
“This building represents much more than a new address for our association,” said Jimmy Shanken, 2026 President of the Hinesville Area Board of REALTORS®. “It represents the strength and commitment of our members and gives us a permanent home where we can continue to grow, serve our profession and remain actively engaged in our community.”
The facility will serve as a hub for member services, professional development, association and committee meetings, community partnerships and other programs supporting local real estate professionals and the communities they serve.
The Sept. 22 celebration will offer attendees an opportunity to meet HABR leadership and members, learn more about the association's work throughout the area and see firsthand the space that will support its mission for years to come.
Refreshments will be served, and members of the community and media are invited to attend.
