Savannah’s Creative Community Gets a New Global Player: tylt Launches as the City’s First Full-Service Global Creative Consultancy
Friday, September 11th, 2026
After more than 25 years working across international branding, advertising,
marketing and creative production, Savannah-based creative leader and SCAD alumnus David Farrant has launched tylt, a full-service global creative consultancy designed to help ambitious businesses grow through strategy, creativity, technology and experiences.
Built in Savannah but designed to operate locally, nationally, and globally, tylt brings together senior strategy, creative, technology and marketing talent around each client challenge. Rather than the traditional agency model, with layers of account management, large permanent teams and significant overhead, tylt assembles the right senior specialists for the job, giving clients access to world-class expertise while keeping the model flexible, focused and commercially responsible.
“Savannah already has an extraordinary creative community. SCAD has helped make this city a global destination for creative talent, but too often that talent has to leave Savannah to find world-class opportunities,” says Farrant. “I founded tylt to help change that. We want to create a place where exceptional creative and marketing professionals can build ambitious careers here, while giving national and global brands a reason to look to Savannah for world-class creative thinking and execution.”
As a SCAD alumnus, Farrant maintains a connection to the university as a mentor. That connection is central to tylt’s ambition. The consultancy is intentionally being built around Savannah’s deep pool of creative minds, alongside an international collective of talent and technology. The goal is not simply to build another local agency, but to amplify Savannah’s already booming creative economy and connect it to national and global opportunities.
tylt’s recent work demonstrates that ambition. For Hancock Day School, the consultancy led a research-driven brand transformation spanning positioning, visual identity and a wide range of physical and digital touchpoints, helping a Savannah institution founded in 1953 enter its next chapter with a more cohesive and contemporary brand. For Sprout Pay, formerly First City Payments, tylt developed and activated a scalable brand platform designed to support the company's expansion beyond its Savannah roots. The engagement encompassed strategic positioning, visual identity, digital experiences, sales tools, POS technology, merchandise and branded environments. View the Sprout Pay case study.
“The ambition for tylt is bigger than building a successful agency,” says Farrant. “It’s about creating an ecosystem. We want to give Savannah’s creative graduates another option: to stay, build, lead and do exceptional work here. At the same time, we want to bring the kind of national and global clients and challenges that give that talent a reason to stay.”
tylt’s philosophy is simple: Growth, by Design. The agency brings consulting, strategy, creative and execution together seamlessly to amplify brands that are not only better positioned, but also better equipped for sustainable growth.
