City of Savannah to Host Public Input Sessions for Savannah MOVES Transportation Plan

The City of Savannah will host multiple opportunities in October for residents to weigh in on Savannah MOVES, the city’s first multimodal transportation implementation plan.
Savannah MOVES — Multimodal, Optimize Opportunity, Vision & Values, Equity & Efficiency, Sustainable & Safe — focuses on the city’s modes of transportation. The plan aims to connect cars, buses, bicycles, micromobility options and pedestrian pathways into a unified system to provide safe, seamless and convenient travel options.
Community meetings will include a brief presentation followed by interactive engagement stations with the project team. Each meeting begins at 6 p.m. and includes the same content:
- Monday, Oct. 5 — Southwest Library, 14097 Abercorn St.
- Wednesday, Oct. 7 — Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center, 425 Pennsylvania Ave.
- Tuesday, Oct. 13 — Bull Street Library, 2002 Bull St.
- Wednesday, Oct. 28 — Liberty City Center, 1401 Mills B. Lane Blvd.
