City of Savannah Hosting Savannah MOVES Public Engagement Sessions in October
Friday, October 2nd, 2026
The City of Savannah will host multiple opportunities for the community to engage with Savannah MOVES, the City of Savannah’s first multi-modal transportation implementation plan.
Savannah MOVES (Multimodal; Optimize Opportunity; Vision & Values; Equity & Efficiency; Sustainable & Safe) focuses specifically on the City of Savannah’s modes of transportation. The new plan aims to strategically connect cars, buses, bicycles, micromobility options, and pedestrian pathways, into a unified system. The goal is to develop a network wherein these modes complement each other to provide safe, seamless, and convenient travel options for all.
Throughout the month of October, pop-up events, community meetings, and online discussions will take place to share details on the new multi-modal approach which examines citizens’ methods of travel, in addition to automobiles.
