Foram Group is proud to announce the opening of Leopold’s Ice Cream’s newest Savannah location at 2400 Bull Street in the heart of the Starland District. The new shop officially opened its doors Friday, Oct. 2 with a ribbon cutting ceremony, bringing one of Savannah’s most beloved and recognizable local businesses to the growing Starland neighborhood.

The opening marks the latest milestone for 2400 Bull Street, a mixed-use property owned by Foram Group, and reflects the company’s continued investment in attracting businesses that complement the character, creativity and momentum of the Starland District.

“Leopold’s is synonymous with Savannah, and we are incredibly proud to have them become part of what is happening here in Starland,” said Travis Stringer, President & CEO of Foram Group. “We have been invested in this neighborhood for more than a decade, and our vision has always been about more than developing properties. It’s about bringing together the right businesses, people and experiences that add to what makes Starland such a special place.”

Foram Group took control of 2400 Bull Street when the property was approximately 50% leased and has since led additional leasing, tenant curation and landscape beautification efforts. Leopold’s joins a growing mix of businesses at the property. Founded in Savannah in 1919, Leopold’s has become a Savannah institution, known by generations of locals and visitors alike. The Starland location brings the historic brand into one of Savannah’s most distinctive neighborhoods while expanding the mix of locally rooted businesses within the district.

The opening also builds on Foram Group’s broader investment throughout Starland. The Savannah-based real estate company has holdings spanning multiple blocks in the district and is independently leading Phase II of Starland Village, centered on the redevelopment of the historic church at 2213 Bull Street. Foram previously partnered with Equus Development Partners to develop the first phase of Starland Village, including two newly completed buildings with 116 apartments and artist studio spaces.

“We believe the best development strengthens the neighborhood around it,” Stringer said. “Seeing a longtime Savannah business like Leopold’s choose Starland is another exciting sign of the continued momentum here, and we are proud to play a role in what’s next for this neighborhood.”
