Liberty Regional Medical Center (LRMC) is pleased to welcome Michele Evans as its new Chief Nursing Officer, bringing extensive nursing leadership experience in hospital operations, emergency and trauma services, quality, regulatory readiness, staff development and patient safety.
As Chief Nursing Officer, Evans will provide leadership for LRMC’s nursing teams and support the hospital’s continued focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to Liberty County and the surrounding region.

We are excited to welcome her to our leadership team and look forward to the positive impact she will have across our organization.”
Most recently, Evans served as Chief Nursing Officer at a Rehabilitation Hospital, where she provided executive leadership for nursing and multiple clinical support services.

Evans is known for her visible and supportive leadership style and her focus on staff engagement, accountability, teamwork and quality patient care. Throughout her career, she has emphasized developing strong clinical teams, improving performance and supporting nurses at every level.
“Liberty Regional has a strong commitment to its patients, its staff and the community it serves, and I am honored to join this team,” said Evans. “I look forward to getting to know our nurses and staff, building on the great work already underway and continuing to strengthen the quality of care we provide our community.”
Evans’ appointment comes as Liberty Regional continues to strengthen its clinical services and invest in the people and programs that support patients and families throughout the region.
