Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Friday, October 9th, 2026

The City of Savannah will host its annual Speak Out Savannah budget engagement event Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. at Savannah Technical College.

Speak Out Savannah, hosted by Office of Management & Budget, provides an opportunity for residents to learn more about the inner work of the City’s budgeting process. Specifically, this event pairs the community with staff members to discuss budget priorities for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) that align with the Savannah GPS Strategic Plan. There will be a budget education presentation, an interactive budget simulation game, and other resources providing additional information.

Residents who attend and participate in the simulation game will be entered into a raffle to win a Hisense 50-inch 4K UHD LED Roku Smart TV. Food will be provided.
