Savannah Technical College Fall Open House

Savannah Technical College (Savannah Tech) invites the public to explore the power of Georgia technical education at its upcoming Fall Open House. The free, community-wide event will take place on Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Savannah Campus in the Eckburg Auditorium (5717 White Bluff Road, Savannah, GA).
Designed to empower future students to find a career path into high-demand careers, the Open House provides an opportunity for local residents to meet directly with industry-expert instructors and program advisors, connect with financial aid specialists, and see firsthand how Savannah Tech supports the whole student with wrap-around services.
Additionally, the Adult Education division will highlight dedicated GED and Adult Education pathways, perfectly tailored for individuals looking to make a career change or return to school.
For many, the barrier to entry to furthering your education is not a lack of ambition, but the intimidation of navigating college applications and financial concerns. The Fall Open House event is designed to eliminate these obstacles, with application fees waived for attendees when they apply on-site.
“It is completely natural to feel uncertain about stepping into a college environment or attempting a career change, but Savannah Tech is here to give you the exact tools to step into it confidently,” said Cynthia Cradduck, Assistant Vice President for Public Relations and Marketing. "Whether you are a transitioning service member uncertain about civilian life, a high school student looking for a fast track to a great career, or an adult working towards new opportunities in your current role, you belong in this workforce.”
