Executive Director for the Coastal Children's Advocacy Center Rose Grant-Robinson talks about the upcoming 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament set for Friday, August 22nd, at Crosswinds Golf Club.

Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center (CCAC) will host its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, August 22 at Crosswinds Golf Club. All funds raised by the tournament will support CCAC’s free investigative and therapeutic services, which aim to bring justice, hope and healing to local children who have experienced abuse.

The tournament format is a four-person scramble, with golfers encouraged to register as either teams or as individuals. An awards luncheon will follow the event, with prizes for the winning teams. Golfers will also have the opportunity to win a variety of raffle items.

“We are delighted to offer this golf tournament as a way to engage the community and emphasize the value of safety for all children in the Lowcountry,” said Margaret Wheble, CCAC Board President. “We hope this event continues to grow in its fourth year and bring even more golfers out in support of CCAC’s work to prevent child abuse and provide support to victims.”

Tournament registration will open at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start to follow at 9 a.m. at Crosswinds Golf Club, located at 232 James B. Blackburn Dr. in Savannah. The cost to participate in the tournament is $100 per player or $400 per four person team. Teams and individual golfers can sign up now at ccac-savannah.org/golf-tournament. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available now through Friday, July 25 on the tournament registration page.
