The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (UGA SBDC) in Savannah will host the UGA SBDC Business Summit in Savannah on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Savannah Convention Center, welcoming business owners, professionals, and community leaders from across the region for a full day of learning and collaboration.

This year’s theme, “Success Starts Here: Inspiring Growth, Driving Change,” reflects the growing momentum of the regional business community and the area’s expanding influence as a Southeast hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and small business excellence. The program is designed to equip current and aspiring business owners with actionable strategies to strengthen operations, improve decision‑making and position their businesses for long‑term success.

The event will feature a dynamic agenda that includes keynote sessions and interactive breakout discussions. Attendees will explore timely topics impacting today’s business environment, including leadership development, people management, access to capital and modern marketing strategies in an evolving digital landscape.

In addition to educational programming, the summit will include an exhibit hall, networking experiences, and opportunities for attendees to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, advisors and resource partners who support small business growth throughout the Coastal Empire.

The UGA SBDC Business Summit in Savannah runs from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Registration is now open, and early registration is encouraged due to strong interest.
