Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company announces the acquisition of two branches of CertusBank, N.A. . These branches are located at 7393 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA. and 597 S. Columbia Avenue, Rincon, GA.   

“These new locations will complement our current Savannah office on US 80 and expand our opportunity to serve more customers in the area,” explains Michael English, Senior Vice President Queensborough National Bank and Trust. “These locations share Queensborough’s commitment to customer service in their respective communities.  We are excited to welcome the employees and customers from these branches into the Queensborough family.” 

Recently named Certus President and CEO, Len Davenport, explained, “We felt a commitment to our loyal customers to provide a bank and a customer service culture where they would feel comfortable. Queensborough meets all of the criteria and we are confident that our customers will find this to be a great fit.” 

According to Bill Easterlin, CEO and President of Queensborough National Bank and Trust, “The leadership and banking personnel will remain in place and continue operations at the two newly acquired branches.”  The acquisition is subject to approval by all of the involved regulatory authorities. “Certus customers will retain complete access to their money and the financial strength of Queensborough Bank stands behind all acquired deposits,” Easterlin noted.
