We are excited about the opportunity to tour the IKEA Distribution Center here in Savannah!  Please arrive at 5:30 sharp, as the tour will start promptly at 5:45. The number of people on the tour will be capped at 25, so sign-up early! Closed toe shoes required. 

Immediately following the tour, please join us at the Crosswinds Golf Club, for a networking session with hors d’oeuvres and 2 complementary drink tickets.  You do not have to attend the tour to join us at the networking session, but you still must register for the May event to attend.

IKEA Savannah DC opened in December of 2006.  The 763,000 square foot facility has a fully automated pallet retrieval system called “the Silo” which houses over 143,000 pallets. This enables a more dense foot print and provides the IKEA DC significant cost savings and operational efficiencies. IKEA Savannah employees 115 co-workers and operates 7 days a week with 2 shifts.  IKEA’s goal is to live the IKEA dream: “To create a better everyday life for the many People.”
