Urgent Care 24/7 announces the appointment of Minnesota native, Samantha Sullivan, as the Urgent Care group of clinics’ newest Physician’s Assistant.

Sullivan, 30, spent over ten years in the army’s National Guard after training as a Combat Medic in 2003 which is where she says “my love of medicine began.  This is a passion which has never left me and which I am delighted to bring to Savannah.”  Her army career includes a 23 month deployment to Afghanistan in 2007 where she served as a flight medic, followed by an assignment with the Arizona State MEDCOM unit.  Sullivan has not only attended many military training courses but also completed three degrees including an Associate’s degree in Science in Enterprise, Alabama, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Master degree in Physician Assistant Studies also from the University of Nebraska. After finishing her Master’s degree she was commissioned as a First Lieutenant and is still a member of the Arizona National Guard.  Sullivan has received many awards and decorations from her time in the military including the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with bronze star and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

Dr. Jerry Williams, owner and Medical Director of Urgent Care 24/7, says “We are delighted that Samantha has chosen to work with us as she relocates to Georgia.  Her commitment to excellence and love of medicine makes her a natural fit with our team of dedicated health care professionals.”
