Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, September 4th, 2014

Savannah Harley-Davidson hosted a groundbreaking Wednesday, September 3rd to celebrate construction on their new facility. Located on a five acre track at the intersection of Highway 204 and I-95, the new location will include a retail and service area, in addition to a 50,000 square foot rider safety training area.

WTOC News Anchor Sonny Dixon, also a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, officiated the event attended by area riders who support the dealership and its multiple locations, including an additional location on River Street in Savannah, Georgia and the Golden Isles Harley-Davidson in Brunswick, Georgia.

The building will be composed of pre-cast concrete panels which are manufactured off site, speeding up the construction process and reducing waste on site; ensuring an environmentally and energy efficient structure. The project is expected to be complete June 2015.
