Old Savannah Insurance Agency Introduces a New Charity Campaign in Savannah

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Friday, June 26th, 2015

With their agency in Savannah, GA, Old Savannah Insurance Agency reveals another remarkable charity campaign as part of its efforts to support the local community. The agency requests that those with compassionate hearts join their campaign in support of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, through the designated donations page at https://squareup.com/market/lindseys-place-camp-2.

James Grusheski, the agency’s principal, who has helped touch so many lives in the community where his agency is located, attested, “I can’t imagine what these young people and their families go through. Lindsey’s Place Camp enables these kids to enjoy the same resources and experiences we all cherish and take for granted – namely, going to camp. Raising funds to enable these weekend retreats enriches lives right here at home.”

The agency has joined the efforts to reach a goal of $350, which will cover the costs for a weekend retreat which promotes self esteem, self confidence and independence. To help achieve that goal, the agency’s network of customers, business partners, friends, staff and family are being invited to actively participate by not only contributing financially, but also by helping spread the word to others.

Old Savannah Insurance Agency continues to employ its own resources to ensure the success of their community programs. The current campaign is being promoted through the agency’s social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Savannah, GA. In fact, Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature this worthy cause, even acknowledging all of those who donate a minimum of $5 through the donations page at https://squareup.com/market/lindseys-place-camp-2. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://www.oldsavannahinsuranceagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.

Old Savannah Insurance Agency will continue to work with individuals and nonprofits in the area to identify new worthy opportunities to support the community every 30-90 days. Through the agency’s website, any members of the community may also submit information on families, persons or groups who would benefit from some help at http://www.oldsavannahinsuranceagency.com/Submit-A-Community-Cause-Idea_45. Entries are diligently reviewed, and the selected worthy causes are properly contacted by a representative of Old Savannah’s Community Program.
