Christy Marsh Joins Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Friday, July 24th, 2015

Christy Marsh joins Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty as a sale associate.

“Without meaning to, I picked up the real estate process from my family members in the field,” Marsh said. “I’ve learned how a real estate professional can help people through the many situations that can arise, how they should be encouraging but not pushy, and how wonderful it can be to help people realize their dreams.”

Marsh draws upon her experience moving to Savannah to help relocation clients maneuver the challenges of choosing a home in a new city. A good multitasker and organized, Marsh knows how to explain information well and is a good listener. She is approachable and a calming person who knows how to take a deep breath and make a deal work. Marsh works hard to keep a reputation for being available, dependable and loyal.

A teacher for eight years, Marsh worked at First Christian Preschool and as a French teacher for elementary students in Atlanta. She received her bachelor’s degree in foreign language education from University of Georgia. She is fluent in French and also coached gymnastics at Summit Gymnastics. Marsh is very active and enjoys yoga and tennis. She credits her experience as a teacher and yoga with her ability to be calm and patient during challenging situations.

Marsh and her husband, Rob, moved to Savannah eight years ago with a two-year plan to return to Atlanta. Instead, they fell in love with the area and the people and knew it would be an ideal place to raise their family. They have three children attending Blessed Sacrament School, where she is the incoming president for the Home and School Board.
