Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, July 23rd, 2015

Michela Sottile has joined Celia Dunn Sotheby's International Realty as a sales associate.

Acquiring from her family a broad background in realty, architecture, and residential construction, she is anxious to bring this knowledge to each client’s particular need.

“I epitomize the old proverb, ‘If there’s a will there’s a way,’” Sottile said. “I have a great love of life and bring that vitality to finding the right new home for each client. Each search should be a rich and meaningful experience that should provide them with their desired lifestyle.”

Savvy with social media and skilled in photography, styling, writing and editing, Sottile previously worked as associate sales manager for an antique and art gallery and as associate director for a museum of contemporary folk art. She also served as associate editor for a philosophic art journal and worked at Armani Exchange in New York, N.Y. In these jobs she honed many skills: consulting with clients, providing superior customer service, styling displays, organizing events, and handling publicity and marketing.

She has an associate’s degree in accounting and studied Italian at the Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri in Florence, Italy.

Having lived most of her life in the National Landmark Historic District, she is very knowledgeable about downtown Savannah and the Starland District. She was privately tutored at home and in Europe and interacted with a large, dynamic, thought-provoking family who prepared her for life and service to God and community. She brings an array of unusual and incisive talents to solve problems and reap results with flare and competence. Her private tutoring ignited a passion for a wide variety of subjects and she enjoys learning and furthering her knowledge.
