Capital A Productions is pleased to announce that Stuart Breed has joined the Savannah-based entertainment production company as a business development manager. Breed’s responsibilities include serving current clients and attracting new business to the company’s continually expanding scope of services.

“Savannah excites me. It has a great music scene, various venues able to host corporate events and the potential to entice more Hollywood clientele to chose Savannah for their projects,” Breed said. “My experience working alongside a varied list of clients in diverse roles in different locations, who always insist on having the best, has prepared me well in knowing how to deliver products that meet and exceed client expectations.”

Breed previously worked at AIR Recording Studios in London and Montserrat and he also served as a freelance audio engineer, tour manager and production manager. He was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1997 and has been recognized for his work with Paul McCartney and INXS. His wide-ranging experience in engineering audio projects extends from handling some of The Beatles original multitrack tapes to mixing a concert in Antarctica. (He can also tell you what a “Wang Chung” is.)

“Brad Gibson and the Capital A Productions team have shown me without any doubt that they provide production services to the very exacting standards I am used to,” explained Breed. “The opportunity to become part of the Capital A team and work not only in Savannah but also further afield makes me happy, very happy indeed.”

The Savannah native was educated in London and studied music under Robert Winder at The Blackheath Conservatoire of Music. Winder is accredited as a Fellow, London College of Music (FLCM), Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM), Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL), and an Associate of the Royal College of Music (ARCM).
