Janet Miller Joins Savannah Real Estate Experts at Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty

Janet Porter Miller has joined Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty as a sales associate.

A native of Savannah, Janet has lived and owned homes in the Historic District, the Isle of Hope, and Wilmington Island, and she currently lives at The Landings on Skidaway Island.  After a long career in sales and construction, Janet developed a passion for architecture and historic preservation. While working as a Project Engineer for a leading construction firm in Savannah, Janet helped to complete the restoration of several multi-million dollar projects involving historical buildings for the Savannah College of Art and Design.

“By working hard and earning clients’ trust, I hope to forge relationships that last long after their perfect home is found,” she said. “I am passionate about the Lowcountry and am honored to help each client find his or her ideal home.”

Janet is an excellent advocate for a wide variety of real estate needs, as she is dedicated to delivering the highest level of professionalism and expertise through her integrity, market knowledge, creative approach to problem solving, and attention to detail.  She is committed to ensuring both buyers and sellers feel confident and comfortable throughout their experience by providing the ample attention that they deserve.

A member of the Marina Committee at The Landings, Janet also served as a volunteer at the Annual Seacrest Race for Preservation and a docent for the Tour of Homes & Gardens this year. She has served as Sunday School teacher and with the altar guild of Christ Church and is currently Verger and L.E.M. She is a member of Historic Savannah Foundation’s 13th Colony group.  She was a board member of the Department of Juvenile Justice and a member of the Hands on Homes Committee. She was a member of the Junior League of Washington, D.C. and Savannah. She was a member of the Washington National Symphony Committee and the Symphonies Home Designer Gala Committee.

Janet has two sons, Austin, a recent graduate of Washington & Lee University, who is pursuing a career in real estate development and Logan, a recent graduate of the Savannah Country Day School, who will be attending Wofford College this fall. Janet was a founder and President of Savannah Lacrosse. She has been an Annual Fund volunteer and a member of the Booster Club for Savannah Country Day School. She also served several times as team mother and room mother for her children’s classes.
