The Tybee Island Pirate Fest is a four-day festival with live music, a parade and family-friendly activities. The hub of pirate action is at the South Beach parking lot, located on Tybrisa Street. The merriment begins Thursday, October 8 at The Crab Shack with the coronation of Pirate Fest’s King and Queen, Lanny and Stacye Jarrell, at the Buccaneer’s Ball. Friday, Saturday and Sunday highlights include The Pirate Victory Parade, Scallywags Costume Contest, Little Matey’s Cove, Thieves Market, the Bud Light Whatever Bar with live music, a fireworks show and several kids’ activities such as a petting zoo, carousel and Ferris wheel.

This year’s headliners are Big Engine and Junior Marvin’s Wailers.
