FONU2, Inc. announced today that its rentals division, Moon River Rentals, has begun grip and lighting equipment rentals to regional productions. Moon River Studios has begun creating jobs and is now generating revenue. Georgia is currently ranked number 1 in the nation for growth in the film industry, and Moon River Studios is situated to help propel this rapid expansion.

Most recently, the Moon River Studios rental division, Moon River Rentals, provided grip and lighting equipment for the small-budget horror film Siren. The feature film is shooting during the month of August in Savannah, Georgia, and it is in good company. Also home to films such as Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks, Robin Wright), Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil (John Cusack, Kevin Spacey) and Magic Mike XXL (Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello), Savannah and Coastal Georgia boast a rich history of highly successful films being shot on location.

"It has been a pleasure working with Moon River Rentals and filming in coastal Georgia," says Jude S. Walko, Siren's line producer. "The studio was responsive to all our grip and lighting needs, and they were punctual and helpful at every turn."

Moon River Studios is currently developing a 1,560 acre full service production complex in Effingham, Georgia. It is the largest film studio development project in the nation. Channeling the mega-studio glory days from the 1930's and 1940's, these state of the art facilities will include sound stages, acres of scenic landscapes, an outdoor concert venue, production and post-production offices, editing suites, warehouses, mills and set fabrication services. It also includes the largest locally based equipment rental inventory available to film, television and commercial production crews in Coastal Georgia.

"We are proud to work with independent film productions like Siren," says Robert DuVall, Vice President of Equipment Rental, Moon River Studios. "Such films are vital not only to job growth and economic development in the Coastal Georgia region but are the building blocks of the film industry."
