The Performing Arts Center at Georgia Southern University is pleased to announce the 2015-2016 season will kick off on August 29 and run through April 1. Theatre and music go wild at the PAC this season with eight professional touring performances from the best actors, musicians, and dancers in the business.

The season opens with hometown stars Carol Thompson, Mical Whitaker, and Alan Tyson in Driving Miss Daisy on August 29, and continues with the comedic styling of the Reduced Shakespeare Company presenting The Complete History of Comedy (abridged) on September 26.

Acclaimed Nashville songwriter and Georgia Southern alumnus Tony Arata, along with a group of his talented friends, celebrate GSU Homecoming weekend with a special concert, Coming Home, on October 16. The Art of Time Ensemble keeps the music flowing with their rendition of the famed Beatles’ album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band on November 13.

On January 30, 2016, Live from Nashville kicks off the new year right with a high-energy country music song and dance spectacular, and The Fabulous Equinox Orchestratakes the audience back in time to the era of Frank Sinatra with their big band performance on February 9. The whole family will be swept away into fairytale land when The Moscow Festival Ballet presents Sleeping Beauty on March 8, and the season closes with a Broadway infusion from the Inspiration of Broadway with Ernie Haas & Signature Sound, featuring J. Mark McVey of Les Miserables fame on April 1.
