MusicFile Productions announced today the final lineup of bands for the 3rd annual Revival Fest to be held Saturday, September 12th at the Georgia State Railroad Museum. Caleb Caudle of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Grand Gestures of Savannah, Georgia have joined the previously announced lineup which can be found here: http://www.revivalfest.org/lineup/  The final schedule and band performance times for both stages will be released on September 1st. The festival is unique in that there is no overlap of music and attendees can see all 14 bands perform.

Additionally, Revival Fest announced that Brown-Foreman has joined as the festival Spirits sponsor with a focus on whiskey brands Jack Daniels, Old Forester and Woodford Reserve as well as Finlandia Vodka and Herradura and El Jimador Tequilas. Local mixologists from Savannah’s top bars and restaurants will create specialty cocktails inspired by Revival Fest and chosen for the day. The beer menu for this year’s event celebrates Georgia’s booming craft beer movement and will showcase beers from Savannah brewers Coastal Empire, Moon River, Service Brewing and Southbound, as well as Sweetwater from Atlanta and Terrapin from Athens. All beverage proceeds from the event benefit the Coastal Heritage Society’s Tri-centennial Park which includes the Georgia Railroad Museum.

Food for this year’s festival will be curated by “Barnes Xpress”- the new 20 ft state of the art mobile kitchen  from Savannah's legendary Barnes Restaurant, celebrating it’s 40th anniversary with an eye toward the future. Festival goers can pick from across three different menus featuring the best of the “Old South”, “New South” and “American South” including BBQ Pork, Ribs, Shrimp & Grits, Brunswick Stew, Dirty Rice and even a layered BBQ Parfait featuring pulled pork, greens and mac ‘n cheese. The kitchen is also cooking up a special combo platter in honor of festival headliners Southern Culture on the Skids featuring boneless Fried Chicken, Captain's Wafers and Banana Pudding; items prominently featured in SCOTS songs.

Friday night, September 11th will kick off Revival Fest Weekend with a community event on Broughton Street put on by the Savannah Downtown Business Association. Music for  “Bourbon And Brass on Broughton” is being curated by Revival Fest and will feature a very special performance by New Orleans’ Stooges Brass Band, a 9 piece hip-hop, funk and brass band. The event will also mirror Saturday’s focus on Bourbon with specialty bourbon cocktail tents, a VIP area and more. The event will take place on Broughton street from 6pm-9pm and additional details and ticket information will be announced by the SDBA.
