BankSouth, named one of the top 20 community banks in the nation, is pleased to welcome Connie George to the BankSouth team as a loan assistant and processor. In her position, she is responsible for providing support and administrative assistance to ensure BankSouth’s standards for completeness, accuracy and timeliness are met during the loan process for clients.

Prior to joining the BankSouth team, George served as a legal secretary for a law firm, assisting attorneys with administrative and clerical duties, as well as providing support for several practice groups. Her previous work experience also includes more than 14 years in the financial industry serving as an executive assistant and financial services representative.

Originally from Cleveland, Tenn., George studied at Armstrong State University and Cleveland State Community College.
