BankSouth, named one of the top 20 community banks in the nation, is pleased to welcome Vonda Resch to the BankSouth team as a commercial loan underwriter. In her position, she is responsible for supporting the Savannah market commercial loan team in the credit analysis and underwriting of commercial loan packages.

Prior to joining BankSouth, Resch served as the vice president / credit portfolio manager at a regional bank where she was responsible for commercial loan underwriting and supporting loan producers at various portfolio levels. She has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to the BankSouth team, including proficiency in accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, funds and capital management.

Originally from Sylvester, Ga., Resch graduated with a B.B.A. in accounting from Kennesaw State University. She is a licensed CPA and Chartered Global Management Accountant, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Georgia Society of CPAs.
