Bethesda Academy Hires Lisa Wilkes to Director of Community Relations

Bethesda Academy, a leading residential and day school for boys in grades six through 12, recently hired Lisa Wilkes as director of community relations.

In her position as director of community relations, Wilkes is responsible for developing and strengthening ties to Bethesda within the community. This includes marketing Bethesda to student populations within and outside the greater Savannah area, as well as showcasing Bethesda as an incredible event venue and coordinating tours on the 650-acre campus.

A graduate of the University of West Georgia, Wilkes has worked in sales for 23 years, which includes a diverse range of sales experience in advertising, educational publishing, and medical devices.
 
Originally from Carrollton, Ga., Wilkes moved to Savannah in 2005 with her husband Lee, a native Savannahian. She is very involved with the community working with several local non-profits and serves as a member of the Women’s Board of Bethesda, a member of the board of directors for St. Joseph's/Candler SMART Women’s Expo & Luncheon, and committee member of St. Joseph's/Candler 1804 Society.
