Former Pro Football Star to Speak at Leadership NOW Lecture on Tuesday

The Savannah Jaycees announces former NFL star and Georgia Southern alumnus, Adrian Peterson as a speaker in the 2015 Leadership NOW Lecture Series to present on Tuesday, September 29 at the Savannah Jaycees headquarters, located at 101 Atlas Street. Open networking begins at 5:30 p.m. and the program will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Peterson was a record breaking standout at Georgia Southern and he went on to spend 8 years in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. He is now an author and motivational speaker. His autobiography, “Don’t Dis My Abilities,” chronicles his struggles with a speech impediment and keeping his faith through a family medical crisis. It is a story of victory over disability. Peterson travels from state to state with a mission to motivate and inspire others.
