Greenbriar Children’s Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides residential services for abused, neglected, runaway and homeless youth and young adults, early childhood education and care and family counseling services, today announced a $5,000 gift from Kinder Morgan, Inc.

“We’re pleased to be able to contribute to Greenbriar Children’s Center and hopefully make a difference in the lives of these children in Chatham County,” said Allen Fore, vice president of public affairs for Kinder Morgan. “The services Greenbriar provides are critical and help lead to the healthy development of children and the strengthening of families.”

The Kinder Morgan gift will go toward the purchase of a new 12-passenger van to transport the Center’s children.

“We are grateful to have a corporate sponsor that is committed to our community,” said Gena P. Taylor, executive director of Greenbriar Children’s Center. “This contribution will get us closer to our goal of providing safe and reliable transportation for our community’s most precious assets, our children.”
