Felder & Associates is pleased to announce that Michael Johnston has joined the Savannah architecture firm as an Junior Associate. Johnston’s chief responsibilities are assisting in the production of construction documents, 3D modeling and collaborating on design projects with other members of the firm’s team.

“A Junior Associate is a person who is working professionally in the field of architecture in preparation for registration or licensure as an architect,” said Brian Felder, the firm’s managing principal. “One of the best ways to support the architectural industry is by providing these unique, hands-on learning opportunities. And what better place to learn about the field of design than historic Savannah, GA. We are so pleased to welcome Michael to our team.”

Johnston studied Interior Design at Olivet Nazarene University for three years. He then transferred to Savannah College of Art & Design to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture.

“I appreciate Felder & Associates approach to each project which is similar to my own architectural philosophy of transforming a client’s needs, emotions and desires into materialized form,” said Johnston.

Johnston is originally from Eaton Rapids, MI. In his free time, he enjoys music, travel and family time with his wife, Kellie, and their schnauzer, Fitzgerald.
