The 3^rd Annual Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon on August 20 and 21 raised $77,244 for The Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center. The radiothon was hosted by iHeartRadio stations 98.7 The River and WTKS 1290 AM in Savannah.

Joining the two-day event were The River's morning hosts, syndicated radio personalities Murphy, Sam and Jodi, and Mark Robertson of Savannah, as well as Bill Edwards and Laura Anderson on WTKS. During the broadcast, families whose lives have been touched by The Children's Hospital shared their stories of hope and healing.

Because of this generous support from listeners, The Children’s Hospital will be able to purchase a variety of needed items such as special neonatal scales to weigh the tiniest babies and new rocking chairs so moms and dads have a comfortable place to sit while holding their hospitalized child.
