Savannah CFO Council to Discuss Future of Healthcare Industry

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, September 10th, 2015

How will healthcare be delivered in the next three to five years in the Savannah area and what impact will it have on local employers? The Savannah CFO Council will seek answers to that question on Wednesday, September 16, during its monthly breakfast meeting at the Coastal Georgia Center.

The event will feature a guest panel representing the healthcare community, facilitated by local business attorney Charles Bowen, founder of The Bowen Law Group. The discussion will focus on how laws affect healthcare practices and how providers envision the healthcare industry changing in the coming years.

This topic is of special interest to the CFO Council audience, which is primarily comprised of financial representatives of local businesses and organizations, each with the responsibility of financial oversight of their respective organizations. Since significant percentages of most businesses’ budgets are dedicated to the cost of group medical insurance for employees, a large turnout is expected for this event.

Interested attendees must register in advance. The breakfast meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 16, at 7:15 a.m., at the Coastal Georgia Center, located at 305 Fahm St. Thanks to event sponsor Seacrest Partners, Inc, there is no cost to attend, but seating is limited and registrants are asked to abide by the group’s attendance guidelines.
