Ruthie Seese, Seabolt Brokers’ 2014 Agent of the Year, once again won the Leukemia Cup Regatta with her husband Gabel. Ruthie has been a committed participant in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Regatta, setting sail each year in the St. Joseph’s/Candler Leukemia Cup Regatta to help raise funds for cancer research.  Her involvement is even more meaningful because of her compelling reason to raise funds and awareness, her mother and sister.

On Saturday, September 12^th, Ruthie Seese was among 700 participants in the St. Joseph’s/Candler Leukemia Cup Series.  Together they raised over $400,000 to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fund research to find better therapies and help improve the lives of patients and their families.

“It means so much to me that these sailors are out there raising money and awareness to give help and hope to families of loved ones,” said Seese.  “And they get to do something they enjoy while they’re making a difference in the lives of others.”
