South Effingham High School today announced a $90,000 gift for its athletics program from Kinder Morgan, Inc. The contribution, to be donated over a span of two years, will help students at South Effingham High participate in a variety of sports, including football, softball, volleyball, cheerleading, cross country, basketball, wrestling, baseball, soccer, golf, tennis, and track and field.

“We’re pleased to be able to contribute to South Effingham’s award-winning athletics program and hopefully make a difference in the lives of student athletes,” said Allen Fore, vice president of public affairs for Kinder Morgan. “Athletics touches everyone, not just students.”

“The Mustangs of South Effingham create a feeling of pride, youthful enthusiasm, and enduring strength. I know all of our students will benefit from this generous gift,” said Dr. Mark Winters, principal of South Effingham High School. “We are grateful to have a corporate sponsor that is committed to our community.”
