Thursday, September 3rd, 2015

The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, a Public Service and Outreach unit of the University of Georgia, invites small business owners of young companies and entrepreneurs who are in the planning stages of their business to participate in our upcoming SBDC StartSmart™ Program.

There are partial fee defrayments available to eligible small businesses through our co-sponsor Wells Fargo Bank.

If you recently started a small business, or plan to open one soon, the SBDC StartSmart™ Program can help you develop your plans and move forward, gain knowledge of critical business fundamentals, and build a framework for a successful business operation.  Program graduates acquire marketing strategies and knowhow, an actionable business plan, information on acquiring capital from banks and investors, access to management tools and resources, and a network of entrepreneurial peers and professionals.

This program includes a book and 8 high-energy, interactive modules covered in four full day sessions.

The first session of the program begins Tuesday, October 13th at Wells Fargo Bank at 136 Bull Street, 2nd Floor in Savannah.

Please be advised seating is limited and participants must complete an application to be considered for the SBDC StartSmart™ Program.  Only one unique business per industry will be allowed to ensure competitive conflicts are minimized.
