The Governor’s Tourism Conference brought more than 500 tourism professionals to Savannah Aug. 30-Sept. 2 to participate in presentations about marketing trends, technological initiatives and other topics important to Georgia’s tourism industry. A highly attended opening reception was held on the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion. This was the first time the annual conference was hosted in Savannah.
