Big Boost at Savannah Trade Center

The Savannah International Trade & Convention Center finished the first three months of fiscal 2016 more than $300,000 ahead of projections, primarily because of its food and beverage department hosting five unexpected events in September while expenses for the quarter came in lower than budget projections.
Stephen Hall, director of finance for the trade center, told the Georgia Maritime & Trade Center Authority board Wednesday that the Savannah facility was on track to finish fiscal year 2016 about $70,000 favorable to budget.
