Ameris Bank recently announced the promotion of three team members to the position of branch manager within their respective branches. Each an active member in their community, all three will manage the daily operations of their specific branch and focus on expanding business and consumer portfolios.

Mia Thompson, Branch Manager: Rincon

Thompson was recently the assistant branch manager of the Ameris Bank Pooler location. Prior to joining Ameris Bank, she was the area operations manager for BB&T. Thompson majored in accounting at Georgia Southern University.

Sandra Burt, Branch Manager: Godley Station

Burt has over 15 years of experience in banking, and recently served as the assistant manager of the Godley Station Branch of Ameris Bank. She is a member of the National Honor Society, and volunteers with the Red Cross and Fort Stewart Family Support Program. Burt received a Bachelor of Science in management from the Ft. Stewart Campus of Columbia College.

Whitney Ray, Branch Manager: Pooler

Prior to joining Ameris Bank, Ray worked as a customer service manager with Food Lion. She recently worked as a personal banker in the Ameris Bank Pooler location. Ray graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from South University.
