Mims Distributing Company, a wholesale beverage distributor in North Carolina, has added Southbound Brewing Company to its lineup of brewing partners. The Savannah, Georgia-based brewery opened in May 2013 and aims to cater to the tastes of the South by bringing the craft beer revolution to Savannah’s back door.

Known for its mix of good brews and love of good music, Southbound will bring two fan favorites to the area market through Mims Distributing: the Scattered Sun Belgian Wit and the Hop’lin IPA. Perfect for hot summer festivals, Scattered Sun is a classic Belgian Witbier with a combination of coriander and citrus peel that creates a pleasant tart aroma and orange citrus flavor. The Hop’lin offers a different approach on a favorite style of beer by accompanying the intense citrus and pine aroma and taste with a slight hint of caramel.

The addition of Southbound comes at a time of continued growth for Mims Distributing. The company was recently named the 2015 Wholesale Beer Distributor of the Year by Beverage World, a premier industry publication.
