Pinky Master's Closing Its Doors After 65 Years

Long-time Savannah bar Pinkie Master's is closing after 65 years on Drayton Street.
A sign on the bar's door warned customers about the news this week. Made famous for Jimmy Carter's presidential announcement atop the bar in the 1970's, the bar's owner tells WTOC the business was evicted following a stabbing this past summer and a pending lawsuit. They say they are hoping to work out a deal to stay longer.
