Ameris Bank recently supported the Georgia Tax Forum as a gold sponsor. Hosted by the Georgia Society of CPAs, the event was held December 2-4, 2015 at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah, Ga.

The Georgia Tax Forum—Savannah provided CPAs in attendance with new information regarding tax laws and changes that will have an impact on both CPAs and their clients. Keynote speakers from the Tax Educators Network, Inc., Georgia Tax Tribunal, and the Georgia Department of Revenue provided participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work through the upcoming tax season efficiently. Shelley Butler, branch manager of Ameris Bank’s Stephenson Avenue location, spoke with accountants in attendance about Ameris’ commitment and role within the Coastal Empire.
