On Thursday, December, 3, 2015, HOS Management made a $5,000 donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire during the nonprofit’s annual Wine & Fries event hosted by the Red Shoe Society, the RMHC’s young professional group.

HOS Management is a leading hospitality and development company headquartered in Savannah, Ga. For over 30 years, the family owned and operated business has managed a diverse group of iconic hotel brands in the Southeast region including Hilton, Choice, IHG, Marriott, as well as their first independent boutique hotel brand, The Cotton Sail Hotel.

“The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for critically ill and injured children and their families,” said Kris Patel, a second-generation hotelier and CFO at HOS. “For this reason and many others, HOS Management is honored to present a donation in the amount of $5,000 to support their mission and help provide a place of comfort to these children and their families while receiving medical treatment.”

Opened in 1987, the Ronald McDonald House in Savannah was the 100th house built in the U.S. With 13 guest rooms, the house features a large living and dining spaces, including a full service double kitchen, laundry facilities, a movie room, a play area, computer and internet access as well as two outdoor areas.

“HOS Management is in the business of providing quality and comfortable accommodations at each of their hotels, which is why their support is a wonderful and natural partnership between our two organizations,” said RMHC of the Coastal Empire Executive Director Bill Sorochak. “We are extremely grateful for their generosity and will undoubtedly put the funds to great use. Without community partners like HOS, we would not be able to provide a soft place for these families to land during very trying times.”
