The employment law firm of Hall, Arbery, Gilligan, Roberts & Shanlever LLP has opened a new office in Savannah with two new partners, Kristen Goodman and Maury Bowen. 

Ms. Goodman handles a variety of business and litigation matters, with a special emphasis on employment law, formation of and risk allocation for businesses, trade secrets and health care law.  She also has special expertise in contract and employment issues affecting the logistics industry.  Ms. Goodman is a 1993 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, with an undergraduate degree from Emory University.  She is the former appellate Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia and is often specially retained for matters proceeding to the federal appeals level.

Ms. Bowen brings 20 years of diverse experience to the firm.  In her labor and employment practice, Ms. Bowen advises and defends corporate clients on a wide variety of issues, including lawsuits, arbitrations, administrative charges, employment decisions of all types, collective bargaining issues, and multi-employer benefit plan management.  Ms. Bowen also has a thriving corporate law practice, in which she advises on entity formation, asset sales and acquisitions, workforce restructuring, and various other matters.  Ms. Bowen is a 1994 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, with an undergraduate degree from the University of the South at Sewanee.
