Parker’s, a nationally recognized convenience store leader headquartered in Savannah, Ga., presented a check for $5,000 to Bryan County Public Schools on December 1, 2015, as part of the company’s Fueling the Community program.

“We’re delighted to support Bryan County teachers and students through our Fueling the Community program,” said Jeff Bush, Director of Fuel Management for Parker’s. “We believe in the power of education and want to make a positive impact right here in Bryan County.”

Parker’s donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gas purchased at all 40 of its convenience stores on the first Wednesday of each month to community schools through the Fueling the Community program. The company’s charitable initiative officially launched in the fall of 2011 and donates more than $100,000 each year to public and private schools in every community where Parker’s stores are located.

Customers can sign up for a PumpPal card online at www.PumpPalClub.com to select a school of their choice for their one cent per gallon donation. Existing PumpPal members can access their account online and select a specific school to receive donations.
