Ameris Bank has named Laurel Rhinehardt as assistant branch manager of the Stephenson Avenue location in the Savannah area. In this role, Rhinehardt will work directly with Branch Manager Shelly Butler to facilitate daily operations and focus on expanding and growing business and consumer portfolios.

“Laurel is an experienced professional with exceptional customer service skills,” said Butler. “I have witnessed her dedication to clients’ needs firsthand. I look forward to watching her continued growth within the banking industry.”

Rhinehardt has over 20 years of management experience, and recently worked as a client service manager for SunTrust Banks, Inc.

A native of New York City, she has been a resident of Savannah for over 17 years and is an active member of The Oatland Wildlife Refuge.
