Atlantic Foot & Ankle Specialists, located at 803 E. 68^th Street in Savannah, Georgia, has acquired the assets of Southern Foot & Ankle Center, P.C., located at 836 E. 65^th Street in Savannah, Georgia as of January 1, 2016.

Dr. Ido Friedman, former owner and head podiatrist of Southern Foot & Ankle Center, will continue to see patients at his new office location, 803 East 68^th Street in Savannah, Georgia, starting February 1, 2016.

Dr. Friedman said, "I'm happy to see that my patients will continue to have uninterrupted podiatric care.  Atlantic Foot & Ankle will have all patients’ records on hand to ensure continuity of care.  Additionally, the patients will benefit from Atlantic Foot & Ankle Specialists’ advanced technologies as well as their extensive referral network.”

Atlantic Foot & Ankle Specialists has made recent expansions in their practice, opening new office locations and purchasing new, high quality laser equipment in order to better serve patients. Recently acquired laser technologies now allow Atlantic Foot & Ankle Specialists to treat traditionally stubborn conditions such as toenail fungus and plantar warts, without the need for surgery or potentially damaging oral medications.
