Coastal Heritage Society Offers ‘Chatham Days’ with Discounted Admission

From Jan. 2 through Jan. 31, come rediscover the military history and educational programming at Old Fort Jackson for “Chatham Days.” The special offer entitles Chatham county residents to a discounted buy one get one free admission throughout the month of January. Just bring one valid photo ID with a Chatham county address to redeem the offer.

“Local residents need to come find out why travelers have rated Old Fort Jackson as a top tier Savannah attraction,” said Brian Lee, Site Administrator at Old Fort Jackson. “We have one of the most engaging interpretive staff in the region delivering an exceptional program.”

The 207-year-old landmark offers daily cannon firings and exciting interactive programs for adults, kids and families. Only minutes away from historic downtown Savannah, visitors can experience unique views of Savannah's riverfront and walk through one of the oldest brick fortifications on the East Coast.

Old Fort Jackson is open seven days a week with hours from 9 am to 5 pm daily. Admission is $7 per adult and $4 per child, for children 2 to 12 years of age.
