The Georgia Department of Labor will help Southern Elegance Staffing Inc., a hospitality-staffing agency, recruit 30 banquet servers in Savannah next week.

The recruitment will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the GDOL’s Savannah Career Center located at 5520 White Bluff Road.

The banquet servers will work 28 to 35 hours per week on a rotating shift.

While no experience is necessary, a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma and at least six months experience is preferred. Applicants who are less than 18 years old must have a work permit.  

Salaries range from $8 to $12 per hour based on experience.   

The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test.
