The Gaslight Group, an award-winning collection of distinguished independent restaurants and bars owned by Brian and Jennifer Huskey, recently hired Tasha Horton as the catering and events director.

In her position, Horton is responsible for meeting with all potential and current clients to help plan creative events of all sizes, from start to finish. This includes identifying the best location for the event, caliber of menu, and space organization and setup. She regularly meets with the head chef at all three restaurants in the Gaslight Group to customize menus tailored to meet clients needs.

Horton has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years working in restaurants unique to Savannah including The Olde Pink House, where she was the lead bartender and trainer for eight years.  Horton then went on to be the general manager and event coordinator of B. Tillman, inside Byrd Cookie Co, which is where she found her passion for event planning.

Born and raised in Savannah, Tasha now lives in Richmond Hill with her husband Dewayne Horton, and eight-year old daughter Kenlie.
